The Dayton Audio SPA-F mounting frame makes it easy to add an SPA250DSP or SPA500DSP subwoofer amplifier to any existing subwoofer without cutting a hole in the enclosure. Constructed from rigid 16 gauge steel the SPA-F includes vents at the top and bottom allowing ample airflow to promote thermal convection to keep the amplifier cool – hot air escapes out the vents in the top, which pulls cool air in the bottom. Foam gaskets on all contact surfaces ensure no vibration or rattles once installed. With the SPA-F adding an amplifier to a subwoofer is easier than ever, all you need is a screwdriver.
