The DVC series subwoofers are extremely versatile and work well in sealed, vented, bandpass, or even transmission line designs. The dual 8 ohm voice coils allow use in a variety of applications and wiring situations. But one of their best features is a solid 15mm of linear excursion, enough to produce room-shaking bass. Each driver features a heavy gauge stamped steel frame, stiff Kevlar impregnated paper cone, treated foam surround, vented pole piece, and dual high-power voice coils. If you are looking for massive quantities of clean bass output for music, movies, or home theater, the DVC series subwoofers are an excellent choice.

These Dayton Loudspeaker passive radiators are designed to be very effective when mated with the DVC Series of subwoofer drivers. The passive radiators feature the same suspension components as the active driver, resulting in a passive radiator that is very stable, linear, and high excursion in nature. A convenient 1/4"-20 threaded rod comes attached to the rear of the cone, allowing different types of weights to be added, adjusted, and secured easily. Cosmetically, the frame, cone, dustcap, and surround are identical to the DVC series of drivers making it very easy to construct passive radiator systems that not only perform great, but look great too!
