Product Description
Install ceiling speakers in schools, offices and institutions in compliance with fire codes and the NEC. The key to this system is the UL listed protective metal enclosure that contains the speaker within the plenum space. The metal enclosure locks into place in the metal ceiling bridge that supports the metal enclosure from the ceiling t-bars for added installation safety. When used with the supplied plenum rated speaker cable, this system meets UL 2043 specifications. The speaker features a 6-1/2" carbon fiber cone with a butyl rubber surround, a coaxial mounted 1" Mylar dome tweeter and a 70V transformer tapped at 0.62W, 1.25W, 2.5W, 5W, and 10W. To ease installation the speaker has removable steel mesh grills, built-in mounting brackets, hardware, and installation instructions.
