The two textured aluminum posts that support the top plate are capped at each end with a chrome ring to accent the speaker stands. The front post is 2" in diameter; the rear post is 2.75" in diameter and hides the speaker cable from sight. Both posts can be filled for added mass (we recommend sand or shot in ziplock type bags). The top plate is 1/8" thick with four adjustable spikes to support the speakers and measures 5-7/8" x 7". The overall height of the stand is 24-3/8" and weighs 16.5 lbs. per pair.
